One Day

I never know what life may carry
But I'm half overcome with fear
Even though change can be good for you
I like the way I've lived these past years

Back then, I was young and I was brave
Back then, I received life so amazed
But nowadays, the future looks scary
I wish things were like back then

We go through life, reaching for that unseen goal
Do we ever get it?  We don't know.
But still, we try to make good use of ourselves
And if we fall, we follow the flow

And now, our eyes are set, our minds don't change
And now, enjoying life to us seems strange

I'm scared to move on, and I'm scared of tryin'
I'm scared of livin', but scared of dyin'
And nowadays, we can't pick a faith to believe

Time moves on, and we are forced to follow
Better make the best of our talents while we can
We'll live our lives reaching toward that unseen goal
As it goes for all our fellow man
