Heaven's Rain

I look through the window
At the cloud-filled sky
The raindrops make me sleepy
I look all around
At people passing by
And yet I feel so alone...do you see me?

So I close my eyes and feel a prayer
And imagine life when I'm gone...the pain I'll no longer bear
When I'm in heaven
When I'm in heaven

I close my eyes at midnight
And the rain is still there
And so I open my mouth

And utter a prayer
And when I'm done, I feel better
My God is listening to me
And He'll be with me
Everywhere

I'm tired of fighting sin
I sometimes feel that I can't win
But I'll make it
I will make it in the end
