Kelli Cates always knew she was born to entertain the world through music.
From belting Disney princess ballads out at top volume in her childhood to playing in the band in her high school, music has shaped her journey through life. Piano entered her life from the age of 7 years old, when she would listen to her brother practice his lessons and then mimic what he played to perfection. It was this gift of learning by ear that would help Kelli burst onto the dueling piano scene. The youngest child of an Air Force family, traveling and seeing new places just comes naturally to Kelli. She has lived in eight different states and has seen multiple countries doing what she loves to do. She currently resides in Kentucky, where she makes appearances at the local O&A’s Piano Bar in Paducah and is working on releasing her original music, which she has written, performed and produced herself. |
Kelli currently has several contracts in the works for Howl at Sea, the cruise-line division of Howl at the Moon.
When she’s not on cruise ships playing for passengers, she travels to piano bars willing to take on an energetic female dueling pianist. Having been raised by a 60’s loving flower child mother and a father who appreciated good classic rock, Kelli’s repertoire includes popular music over multiple decades that people love to sing along to, dance to, and enjoy all night long.
